OK, that's exactly what I did. I am such an idiot sometimes. So, I'll upload the correct one tonight. Sigh....

CHeck the mail again, for some reason the mail I send goes to the spam box. I moved it to the inbox. That one works, I just tested it.
Sorry guys that it's so difficult.

Spent a good portion of the day putting the new Maya buildings together, still have two to finish though. But I was focusing a lot on the Chichen city plan and getting the smoke pots in place. I'll need to redo some of the pathfinding so the battles will work, but I don't think the other 2 buildings I have to put together will affect the the pathfinding, so I'll work on that this week.
Going on vacation next week and want to have the Maya portion completed by then. Then I have to replace the buildings for the other Factions.

I'm still getting the error message when I try to unpack the folder. Maybe there's nothing wrong with the folder but with my computer. Is anyone else having problems with the latest folder?

I've downloaded it and unzipped it and didn't get an error message. What error are you getting?

It says it can't create the ITW_FL\data...(a whole lot of folders under data).
Hmm. I'm going to Syria tomorrow and I won't be back until the 12th of August. This is causing a serious delay in the testing. I'll just post the latest version of the traits and ancillaries in the mail in case someone has time to test then while I'm away.
Perseusz, how is your progress with the unit descriptions? Would you mind testing them (basically loading them in game, see if they cause errors, and check for spelling errors) ?

Maybe its because it is a zip file created on my Mac. Sigh, I'll compress on my PC then see what happens. Thing is, my PC has the worse internet connection and the uploads always fail after waiting 6 hours. I'll try though. Sorry man.

I've peeked into the .zip file using some tools and all the files seem to be there and fine.
Are you extracting it into Rome Total War folder or into the Rome Total War/data folder? You do not extract it into the data folder.

Jacob gave me the trait and ancillary files which I still need to load and test. I really want to finish the buildings first. So this wont happen until next week since I'm going on vacation for 5 days starting tomorrow.
In other news I've been doing a lot of research at work on scripting and movies and I have a few ideas. I only want to add two scripts, one for Maya and one for Aztec in order to make game play both more historical and more interesting.
I might also add the Client Kingdom script for the Aztec, Tepanec, and Tlaxcala which randomly gives the faction a small number of soldiers from towns they conquer. I know the Aztecs asked for tributaries in both men and arms, so this will add to the historical accuracy of the game.
I'm thinking of making the Tepanec, Tlaxcala, and Mixtec unplayable in the first release. Just an idea and easily changed.

I have also been travelling, and have slowly returned to the interface, descriptions still pending, after Rah is able to load and test the first version I'll get there. The strategy UI is finished since May along with a couple of buttons, and looks pretty nice. The problem has been the battle one, wich I made many times over, but I think I finally have an appropriate design, I'll let you know.
