I will make unique faction leaders when possible,for the other ones I will just use 'faction leader' like in RTW.
How were the leaders of the Aguarana,Mapuche and Diaguita called?

The leader of the mapuche was the Toki. The rest, i dont know. There is not many info about the Diaguita.

Back when I was helping out I made some of the traits. Hmmm, let me search my computer for them...

Alright, here's what I have so far:
Chimu Capac (Chimu Faction Leader) Toqui (Mapuche Faction Leader) Sapa Inca (Inca Faction Leader) Descendant of Naymlap Greenstone Idol of Naymlap (not sure if this should be a trait or ancillary. What is it?) Member of the Dynasty of Taycanamu Member_of_the_Dynasty_of_Naymlap (dont' know what the difference between this and descendant is) "Good General" trait line (just took the good commander traits from RTW and renamed them) "Bad General" trait line (see above) "Good Attacker" trait line (taken directly from RTW) "Bad Attacker" trait line (see above) "Good Defender" trait line (see above) "Bad Defender" trait line (see above)
That's all the traits I have so far. Ancillaries:
Incan Traitor Mapuche Traitor Augaruna Traitor Chimu Traitor Slave Traitor (rebel)
However, I made these over half a year ago, so some people may have changed their minds about some of the things I've made. If you want, I can send you a copy of the files I have edited so far. If no one minds, I can rejoin the team, and if you still want to work on Traits and Ancillaries, we can work together. As long as me helping again is ok with everyone else.

Working again for the mod is no problem, but it would be really nice if you sticked around this time, because we are trying to form a core team here and its really painful to do some things, then a guy leaves and we have to do his work all over again. If you plan on staying, then you are welcome, if you plan to show up for a week and then disappear for a month, then maybe it would be for the best of this mod that you stayed only as an observer. Sorry if this sounds harsh but i thing its time we put some things in order...

Yes, I understand. I will stick with it and if there is any reason that I must leave, I'll inform you beforehand and make sure everyone has all of my work that's done so far. Anyway, has anyone else done any work on traits and ancillaries? Is there any big list of all of the ones I should make? And to whoever was telling me which ones to make: did you seperate the traits from the ancillaries now? It was quite confusing because sometimes I wasn't sure what you were telling me to make.

Also, some things that I absolutely need in order to make traits and ancillaries:
A list of factions that will be in the beta, their cultures, and what culture and faction template to use for each faction. In other words, as far as the game's files are considered, are the Incans the Brutii? What culture are they? I absolutely NEED to know these things if I'm going to do anything.

I'm working on the traits right now, but your help is welcome.The cultures are Andean(Inca,Aymara,Chanca,Chachapoya), Mapuche, Diaguita, Chimu,Amazonian(Aguarana) and mesoamerican(Aztecs,Mayans,Mixtec-Zapotec). Those Inca specific traits aren't possible,unless you wan't the Aymara leader called Sapa Inca.
imo the culture groups should be altered, put for example the Diaguita and the Chimu together to free another culture slot for the Incas.

Actually, if I remmember correctly, Faction-specific traits ARE possible. You can't be faction-specific in the top part of the character traits file, but you can be in the triggers! I haven't modded in months, but I'm almost 100% sure of this. I'll ask on The Guild to make sure.

That's good news ;D. What trigger would you use for 'suffering of uta'? It's a disease, so it should be random, but is it possible to make it region specific(so that a character could only gain the trait in a region where Uta reaaly exists)?

Hmmm. I'm pretty sure you can make a trigger that has only the condition of "Endedturn" or something like that. However, the lowest chances you can give is 1%, and that's pretty high for every turn. Are we going to keep "the plauge"? If not, we can just rename the plauge to Uta.
