Lets see what everyne has to say about getting these done.
Mel, were are you able to get us Unit cards via 3DsMax and if so do you need the skins complete before you can accomplish this?
Have these been started?

Meltrios , just a little tip, if u have bi in the huns unit_info and unit card folder there are 3ds max scenes in which are perfect for making unit cards all u do is merge the units with that scene as the scene has grass and everything, also i am have made loads of unit cards and could allways helpout if needed.

I think the issue at the moment is skins. We would love if you would work with Fili and get more of the units skinned. PM Fili and see which ones he has not done and let us see what you can do.

Mel, let me know what your plan was for the standard bearers, cause there are about 5 coded into the game for each faction and I was curious how you wanted to replace them with only the two you sent me.
Jacob - If I have to edit the standard bearers, this will affect the unit files you are editing. Perhaps if your on MSN Sunday (3-22) we can swap the files, I can edit them, and then give you the updated versions.

yes well there has been a little change since i dont thing i will be able to model another 12 units, so i think we can have only 2 standard bearers for each faction. one for general troops, them being for the aztecs
tlacochcalcatl tlacatecatl knights of the eagle and the jaguar
and the elite being
coyote warrior momoyactli cuachiqueh otomi
for the maya general banner to
nacom maya nobles
elite standard to
champion balam holcanob
for the mixtec general standard to

i think thats that, the other troops can have their officer, general and elite troops can have the standard bearer and an officer and another thing.When i was modelling the models i thought the general, being the units in bold letters, should be not a whole unit of 30 soldiers but one single unit, having officers as bodyguards.Can we get that in the EDU?

All you posts regarding the standard bearers makes sense. Jacob, the only files this will affect are; descr_model_battle.txt & descr_model_units.txt
The the way the General coding works is, you make a 'generals unit' with the attribute 'generals Unit' I think we can control how large it is, but I may be wrong. I'll check the tutorials and test in game.

We'll start using this thread for all things related to descriptions and the unit cards.
Pers. I have not sent the templates because I have not had more than two hours at most a night to work on things so I need to finish coding a couple of things before I can see where we stand on the building info cards and if the template makes sense.
As for the descriptions. There is a good file Mel recently put up with his opinion on recruitment, bonuses, and the building names, I think its called simply Buildings.pdf and was put up about a week ago. Use this for your reference for now guys and Jacob work off of this for the file you are using. Perhaps combine the two.
