Why do they have shields but not weapons? Any luck on getting a closer shot? I really need it to see how to stretch and place the elements of the skin, and I am really curious about that top feather.

Vuk, there is no need to worry about it now. Hopefully, meliritos will completly finish the right cas files next time before he asks us to skin

Guys, I know it's late, but let's stay on this and get something done tonight! I would really like to get at least one model looking halfway decent so we can show something tomorrow.

i didnt say they are not ready, i only said that i need to have the skins back so as to put them on the models. Then ill send you the final .cas files. And by the way, you did a nice job with the skins, keep it up. I uploaded another zip pack with 10 skins. Just an observation. The heavy hatchet dude was meant to have different skirt and torso. You can give the torso and the skirt a one colour skin with things like buttons all over, please check the photo references in the zip files ive sent you. Oh and by the way, if you use the skins and experience some bad stretching in the skirt or the torso then use a one colour texture, because patterns will look bad. Hopefully the mapping in the new zip file i sent you is much better and there will be less stretching.

Vuk, there is no need to worry about it now. Hopefully, meliritos will completly finish the right cas files next time before he asks us to skin there is a reason why i didnt finish the models. This is the procedure to make the models in 3d max: 1 you model 2. you uv map, 3. you skin, 4. you rig the model (a process in which you make the model understand the animations, and you attach shields and weapons, and 5 you export. But as i didnt do the skinning myself i couldnt go to number 4 without finishing the 3 stage. Get it now? And another thing. If you are so hasty then take these models i sent you, put them in max and rig them and they will work just fine. You dont have 3d max? Then give me back the skins and i will finish the models.

As for the Aztecs, ok they are on hold. I will start the mapuche. You will have all the units by monday, it will be easy using only one model and just change the skins. i will use the references someone of you drew I dont know if they are historically accurate but...

Could I get some close up renders of the model with my skin? That is the only way that I can see how to apply the real textures and how to counter-stretch them.
Could someone please get me some close ups from several different angles?
Thanks, Vuk
P.S. Or if you have superb patiences ;D, you could walk me through the process of putting them in game (via email), and I could see myself. Still the closeups would be appreciated.

You can skin after the models are completley done. If you finish the models a head of time, it will save a lot of time from sending them back and forth.
