which faction owns which city. If anyone could look at the map that CF posted on the org in the Inca Total War thread, use that as a reference of where the cities can be. Someone needs to start pin-pointing the locations of the different cities we're using, the faction they belong to, and about how large they were (small town, huge city, etc). Hopefully someone can help with this.
Also, what are the different names for the characters in the different factions, first and last names? Are we using actual last names, or using "of Cuzco" (or things like that) for the last names, like they did for the Greeks and a few other factions in RTW?
Also, do we have a list of rebel factions? We need to know those (well, maybe not important for the beta) and which cities they control, but don't worry about that for now.
Another thing, recources. What trade recources are we going to use? (examples, timber, gold, wheat). You can find the list of trade recources in data/descr_sm_resources for reference. We need to know what recources we are using and which cities will have each recource.

Actually, Antarki already said which ones we should have in his Cities and buildings thread. What we need to decide is which cities are going to be which size, but first we need to get a list of all potential cities for the entire map!

Ok , the exact year if we use the christian chronology should be 1420. then, the game should run from 1420 to 1532, that means, 112 years (224 turns)
1532 is the year the spanish arrived with their army. we can also use, as i remember it was propossed, the year 1525, aproximately the end of Huayna capacs reign. i think thats a better time limit. that would give us 105 years of play time, wich means 210 turns. this seems more likely.

How many cities will there be? Because in Rome Total War, I can't take over the entire map in 105 years, so if it is just as hard and there are just as many cities, that may be a problem...

We will have to expand the starting date, because the Alexander Exspansion was 100 years or something and it was pretty hard. So i say 12th century when Manco Capac united the Incan Tribes.

Yes I think it is too little. Could it be pushed backwards just for gameplay turns? Sometimes I feel Medieval Total War II is just too short, specialy after raising war against the aztec.

I think if we use the four seasons per year script we could lengthen the campaign. 210 turns sounds a little short to me.

Game starts with the Chanca tribes invading the Inca`s with a large and well prepared army (middle of the XIV century). The Chanca army will be located deep inside the Inca Teritory, and the 2 factions will be at war. The player who is with the Inca`s will need to defeat the Chanca`s in order to survive... We will have 4 turn per year.... 2 turns per year is not realistic. Number of provinces will be great.
