The Inca trilogy by Antoine B. Daniel(which seems to be an alter ego for 3 authors) is a series of books about an Inca princess during the Spanish conquest.
I stumbled upon the first title in my local library, and now I'm somewhere halfway reading it. Although the story is partly fictional it uses a historical correct background and I could recommend it to people interested in the Inca culture(that should be all of us). Beside that it's just a good book (or at least the first half).
