That's the file where it says which cultures say what when they offer, refuse, or accept any kind of deal. If no one else is working on it, I can if you'd like.
Also, does anyone have a list of the general "Personality" of certain factions and cultures? For example, were the Mapuche considered violent, intelligent, lazy?

Well, the mapuche were very hard-workers, and very violent. But there iis one thing very important: They woul NEVER accept to become a protectorate or to surrender a town. They were the fiercest defenders of their independence. Mapuche towns should be the most unhappy and rebellous of all the factions. Thats because mapuche didnt have the concept of slavery in their minds, unlike the inca or aztec. Every man was a free man. Thats why they resisted, while the aztecs and inca just switched from one slavemaster to another.

Well, this file doesn't actually control whether they accept or deny - it's just what they say when they accept or deny. Thanks, perhaps for the Mapuche, when they get offered Protectorate, they can respond furiously. However, I think that this file is limited to cultures, so the other factions within the same culture of the Mapuche will make a point about their independence when they deny offers.

Thats why the mapuche are the only faction in their culture.

They are? What faction and culture references do they have? And what culture are they considered, just Mapuche?

WellMapuche were in the "Mapuche" culture slot. The cultures we had previous to the return of rex were:
Mesoamerican: Aztec Maya Mixtec-zapotec Tlaxcallans
Andean: Inca Chanca Aymara Chachapoya
Coastal: Chimu
Aguaruna: Aguaruna
Mapuche: mapuche
Diaguita: Diaguita
I dont know if that mantains that way.

The problem is, that if we are going to insert the spanish (even if not in the campaign), we need another culture slot. I`m not sure whether RTW could handle 7 cultures...

True, but if they are just in Custom Battles, does culture matter?

Yeah, i dont think it is necessary to sacrifice a culture slot for a faction we are not playing with.

In the other thread, though, Rex explained that if we make an add-on, we will need a new culture slot, and it will be a hassle to move all of the factions into different slots for the new campaign. So if we do need to put them in a different culture slot, which one do you think they'd belong in best? Which one has a similar personality?

Hard decision to make... All cultures were very different. I think we could move the Diaguita to the andean culture slot, but that would still be very innaccurate.

Well let's try to think of the things that actually are limited by culture... What they say for diplomatic offers, character names, the "Traitor" ancillaries and "Dislikes" traits... Anything else?

I could do the diplomacy txt files. After all it's just typing, and if I would spent 15 min everyday on it I wouldn't neglect the trait work.
