I've noted you guys are still needing skinners, is that right? If so, I would like to sign up as a 2-d artist. Can't be really active right now as I'm working on another mod, but, I can come up with anything if needed.

It would be great to get someone who is more than just a skinner but a 2D designer as well so that we can move along much quicker on all the art work in the game. Let us know as soon as you are available and if your willing to take on a little more responsibilty. If you can only offer to help as a skinner or cleaner that would be great as well.

Still interested in the role perszeusz? Cause I would still like to find someone whose job is to manage the 2D art for the mod. This way that can progress apace with the model, city, and trait work that is going on at the moment. I believe we have access to skinners now, but still need people to work on the 2d art. So, if you truly want to take participative role. Please. Check out the mod folder as it stands and begin presenting us with ideas which you will then manage and accomplish.

I'm so sorry. I know I said a week would suffice to be able to look at the mod folder, but things have complicated a little. Be sure that I'm very interested in helping the mod out, I won't change my opinion, and I'll do my part ASAP.

We'll need someone with 2D skills to make the images from the ancillaries. There is no real hurry for it , as I haven't made new ancillaries yet, but it would be good to know we have someone on the team that could make them.

The ancillaries will be easy to cut out and clean up for someone with any degree of photoshopping skills. I would just like to have someone who takes the responsibility of doing it and making sure its done right even if we farm the work out as wel as doing the other, more complicated and design oriented aspects of the art design that we need.
Perszuesz: Although we would like the mod to be progressing faster, it is progressing at the pace that all of our schedules dictate. Right now I am busy and I know Mel will be getting busier. So, you definitely have the time you need to take care of you RL business. Hopefully, for most of us, we can reconvene in Aug and get the ball really rolling.

I believe we are currently working out a deal with the Diadochi folk regarding skinning and modeling. Mel is taking the lead on this so I'm not quite sure where it stands. Thanks for pointing it out though Jacob.

Thanks for your comprehension guys. Maybe before August I can inform you about the scrolls and other interface suggestions and/or changes. I also offered help with the Mayan city layout some time ago, and I have one or two excellent sources I think we should grasp for that purpose, if there's still a need for this.

I've been working on the Mayan cities plotting them out on graph paper and then I'll design em in game once I get all the buildings from Mel. I'm more than happy to collaborate on it so it can go much faster. My plan is to make some specific cities, like Mayapan and Chizen Itza and then a generic city tree for others.
As for the scrolls, we should talk some time about your ideas and what we have discussed here in the past.
I know one thing I had in mind for the Mayan one was to use their writing or glyphs along the edges. I'm not sure how this would look, just think it would play into the theme.

I uploaded the mod folder to filefront and posted the link on the email. This should have all the files and information people need. I fixed all the errors I could find on the units and some of the map issues.
