Oscar man, you got the job. Nice job indeed and for someone who, like me, isnt a pro but learned modelling on the go, its perfect. If i remember correctly, Ill check it and tell you, the building models for the strategic map need to be less high poly, but they have less detail, so you can cut some faces from the stairs. But in the actual campaign this building will be perfect. Do more buildings with the same faces, around 800, and i will check and tell you the sizes for all the buildings.
Man, you really make me happy, if you can handle the buildings i can do other staff and save time. I can prepair the heads for the portraits for example. And if we have the buildings, the unit models and the map, then we have all the core things to make a game, the others such as 2d art, coding etc we can all handle one way or another. Your contribution is the best news we got since Rah started making breakthroughs with the map.
Good job, just hope you get committed and dont leave. If you help we will definitely have a mod by the end of this year and a good one. And believe me people, this community will welcome warmly this mod, cause its unique in thematology.
Do these two things for me Oscar. Firstly make a thread called "Oscars thread" or sth, in the Unit Development or in the Art Development thread. Then start posting there everything you do, where we can all see it and have it all consolidated. Secondly, send the .max files with the buildings in the mods email, where i can download it from.
The mail is inca_total_war@yahoo.com, the password Im going to send it to you. Inside you will find on the left some Osprey books where you can find tons of references for buildings. Also for Maya buildings and constructions like altars, shrines etc
check this thread:
research.famsi.org/schele_list.php?rowstart=0&search=&num_pages=97 . This thread is like a visual encyclopedia, do a search with the word "structure". This site can be useful for Kuk too, for his mod.
Nice work again man, congratulations.
