I can work on buildings if you want. But I'm mostly a character designer, so if you need help there also you can ask me. For the buildings I'll start as soon as I have the artworks

I don't know if Mel needs help with character design, but I can ask. Do you think you could help with 3-D portraits after you do the buildings? Thanks, Vuk P.S. Ask Rex to make you a mod so you can view the developer forums.

I think I can do the portrait but I'll need information about the way they work in the game. Like are they layered (to generate the older face) or just replaced and things like that

k, for now you should concentrate on the buildings. For the info, ask our modeller (Mel) or RM#3 (who isn't part of the team, but helps out a lot).

Yes, if you can model buildings that would be great. I have posted some buildings for them Maya, so you can have a general idea what the Maya buildings looked like. I believe your help with the buildings is more crucial now

You can use anything I did, only give proper credits. I made peace with Mel already so I guess it is ok.

well, buildings are made out of primitives so, only some images from an history book or some sketches should do. However, I think the hardest part (by far) will be the portraits and the messages pictures (like besieged city and stuff). We'd need some original drawings for these. Maybe making an old mural drawing style might be cool!

Mayan drawings are different from aztec drawings, arent they?

Although I don't have any modding experience I would like to help. This mod looks great and I can't wait to play it, and by helping the mod team I hope to shorten this waiting period. I can give historical advise, especially about the Aztecs, and I have 3 weeks in which I have completely nothing to do, so I have plenty of time to learn some mod tricks if needed.
just copied my post from the Guild join us tread.

ok, glad to have you onboard. GPZ there is one thing you can do with the characters that needs to be done and needs some work. Its the lower resolution characters. It would be good if we had you earlier, now its too late to model new characters since i have almost done it myself, only the Aztecs remain and they will be done this week. The buildings are top priority. Once you have finished them and you feel like you can do more, maybe we can divide the units and start doing the lower resolution characters. What do you say?

Anyway, if magestryn wants he can try out the banners and we will see. And he can do portraits this way, since magestryn seems to be a great 2d artist. Magestryn, maybe you could do some face close ups and we will use them as portraits. It will be nice to have your style, instead of re using the RTW portraits or modelling heads, which can take some time. But first things first, do the banners first, ok?
