I have thought of a multiplayer version of the Inca mod but rather different from what goes for vanilla RTW. My idea of a multiplayer is like that: We have this map and the players get to choose one civ. They create units, buildings and all like in the singleplayer game and they come to move their units in turn, as if it was a singleplayer game. So I take the Aztecs, Fili the MApuche and Rex the Diaguita and we play one after the other. But when it comes to battle we wont be able to fight one another the AI of the game will decide the outcome by clicking the automated result of the battle. It will depend in unit sizes, the generals stars, the unit bonus from different terrains and such. What do you think? First do you think it will be interesting and second can it be done?

and Ill be Aztecs. But i dont thnig you got me correctly (or am i wrong?) I came up with this idea to implement it for our beta release. It will be the Inca TW multiplayer campaign. Can we do sth like that for the beta? It will be sth different from the multiplayer in vanilla and i believe it will improve multiplayer game. I mean, am i not correct but the only way to go multiplayer is to fix only battles on the battleground and no strategic play on the RTW map?

We could insert a hotseat system in our mod.... But that will give us extre ammounts of scripting, and much more possibilities for bugs.
But nevertheless, the idea is good !

Yes i think so. I mean its a unique idea, right? But you are right it will need some heavy scripting, maybe some proffesional scriptiers (no offence to our scripters). Is there someone we can contact?

Guys, all we need is Myrddraal's permission to use his script, its all ready, and its compatable with any mod as well as extra scripting...

Maybe our scripters could start researching the ways around getting such a multiplayer game for the mod to work?

I don't really know what you are talking about. Mydraal has released a hotseat script for any mod to use, multiplayer battles have nothing to do with scripts either.

I think they are talking about including the hot-seat script in our mod. That is what I think they mean at least.

I dont know if i explained myself well. What i propose is a Risk campaign like multiplayer game for our mod, because as far as i understand it tie multiplayer game in RTW works somewhat differently and allows only battles between two players.
I propose a Risk like multiplayer game where the players will play on the map, create units and buildings and all one after the other. Only the battlesystem will have to change because if, lets say, 5 people are connected and play in a multiplayer game it will be annoying for some to wait until the battle between two players ends.
Instead of battles our mod will let the automatically solve battle choice solve the battle when two adversary units meet on the map according to generals stars, the number of the army, its quality and the terrain.
i dont understand the term hot seat, but if it is like what i propose then i say go for it...but then again we need scripters to do that....
