I spent most of today just trying to get all the coded names working. Took me WAAAAAaaay longer than I intended. But as of now, all the provinces are complete, I have removed most of the winter aspects of the map (will need to do some serious deep code tweeking to remove it all) Here is how I progressed: By Rah'Majashan at 2008-02-17 By Rah'Majashan at 2008-02-17 As you can see I managed to make it look fridged but like spring. I think I am going to have to simply place a ling megaupload link here for you guys since I have changed so many files to accomplish what I have. I will do this tomorrow once I make some minor text edits. You guys can then toss in all the different files you've been working on.

I know I promised the map to you guys for this morning but yesterday I received many parts of the mod, such as RomanMan#3's files which code in the units and some updated and reformated icons from Murf, which I would like to implement before sending it out. This way when you guys download it, it will be much more than a map, but rather a rough version of our game. Thanks for your patience and I will try to code in these sections this week.
Jacob and SSJ, if you guys have any of your files complete, please, either PM me and I'll give you my email or post them on the mod email and I'll add them. If you wont have any thing done by Friday, don't worry.

I have a lot of work done, but it needs to be tested. It's still work in progress, and some things are certainly not finished(like the intelligence trait for other skills and agents). I could try to get that done by Friday, but I can't assure it. I'll upload the finished things on the mods email this evening(I'm not on my own PC right now).

I can personally testify there isn't snow per se in Mexico. I went there and some people I talked to had never seen snow. Sort of surprising to hear for someone from Canada.

There is snow in the americas, especially where you are from Fili, but most of the area the mod and flower wars will take place do not get the cover the land in winter wonderland sort of snow. I think is flurried in Mexico recently and it was news. But don't worry. When we make the main Inca mod, there will be snow in chile.

Excuse me, but I wonder... Wasn't the climate a little different back then?

Excuse me, but I wonder... Wasn't the climate a little different back then? It was a little colder during the 15th and 16th century but usually when ever the northern regions have been cold then meant less rain in the Mayan lands, this is one of the theories of why the classic Maya civ collapsed in the 12th century while Europe was going through a mini-ice age. But that is a good question and one I will definitely look into once I return my focus to the map. However, even if it was a bit colder I don't think there was ever enough snow in the region to justify having any snow climates in Flower Wars.
