I'll do as you say Rah I will also do the new one, and make a banner for all of them. Then my vote is yours.

Me two. There nothing better than a thick, warm slice of turkey breast covered in gravy next to some pie....

Yummy, Turkey. I live with a vegeterian so getting turkey is at the generosity of those we invite over. Not to mention that my stove is too small to fit a turkey. But so far, every year, someone has brought the bird.
OK boys and girls, I have completed the map. It may need some edits but that is up to you guys to tell me. As I have mentioned before, until I get a PC keyboard I still haven't figured out taking screen shots, but I'll work on that.
Here's the question though. How well do you guys know how to parse out the files needed to make the map look the way I envision it?
Or, should I just zip or RAR up my data file and send it off to you guys and we'll call that the master which we can then update and switch things out its edited?
Cause if I do that, I will spend the rest of today and what ever other free time I have making my data file the most updated I can before sending it off.
Let me know

I can either make a folder with all the textures, data files, and campaign map files for you guys to then move all the files to where they need to be.
or
I can just send you all my data folder and you can just plug that in and make it the master mod folder.

Hey guys, just want to let you know that I have not run out you all. After getting a fire lit under me by Mel last week, I spent all week trying to finish the provinces of the map. The more I started researching the more I learned that the references I was given were incorrect and incomplete. So, I've been rifling through websites with a fine tooth comb to get us the best province list we can get. I am almost done at the moment and will hopefully post all the necessary files on the mod email for you guys to insert into your versions.
I am sorry if my lack of communication gave anyone the idea that I had left for some reason, the truth is I just didn't want to post until i had some good news.

Sorry guys, I know i said I would have the map up for you guys tonight. But I went and started coding in the Aztec names and all hell broke loose and now the map wont load. I'm back tracking and trying to figure out what I did wrong. Its really weird. It worked just fine after adding the names, then I added the family records and it crashed without an error message and now, even after removing the family, it still crashes.
Sort of figured it out, something to do with the family tree. I got it all working but its late. I'll post it tomorrow hopefully.

For some reason my internet has been kicking out in the evenings. I sort of share it with other people in the building and the person who has the wireless router seems to be having a problem with his cable connection. Yadda yadda. So I wasn't able to get as much work done as I thought.
Another issue I'm having is that for some reason there is no vegetation on the battle maps. This may take some time to figure out, but I'll still post it once I finish adding the remainder or the provinces so you guys can test the units and such.

After my internet went down I was able to test the map and begin coding in the generals names. I have the Aztec faction and opening game play almost done. I did have to code in another faction though to make this work. Now, before every goes up in arms over modeling and skins and such, this faction is a Aztec culture. The most we'll need to do is edit some of the skins by maybe changing some colors, but the models will all remain the same, the names will all be Aztec, the buildings will al be Aztec, the only other thing we'll need is an icon which shouldn't take too long to do.
I had to do this in order to make the start of the game more challenging. We are starting 1427 right after the Aztec king is assassinated by the Tapenecs. Up until this time, all the cities and few beyond, pay tribute to the Tapenecs. This assassination tips the scales and is why the Triple Alliance is formed. Without have the Tapenecs as a separate faction the opening move of taking over the valley will not be as difficult.
Without the faction I was able to quickly take over the cities and move my units out of the valley. After I made it a faction I had to spend my first 5 turns just building an army strong enough to beat the Tapenecs while they hammered away at all my units once they left the city. In this way you have to work at securing your base before moving out to expand your empire.

I suppose this faction is unplayable, so I don't need to worry about faction specific traits, right?

Yes, this faction is to be unplayable and it will have all the aspects of the Aztec faction. Two of the three members of the Triple Alliance were of Tapenec culture so it is not beyond belief that most of what we know about the Aztec would have been similar if not exactly the same for the Tapenec. its just by making the first group you are fighting a separate faction makes the game more interesting and difficult.
