personally I think the banners could use some more work on photoshop. You have a nice start there but I still feel the contour of the various images and its filled with plain, flashy colors. Giving a more clothy look would make it some amazing work. If I'm too harsh in my critiques let me know, where I am people talks to me like that so I get to do pretty much the same with others.

There must be only one banner for each faction. Each batallion wears one. In the strategic map, the armies carry the same banner. There cannot be a banner for a capitain, and other for a warrior of the same faction.

I liek the designs, but I have to agree with both Fili and gpz. One banner per faction and the banner should look as though it is made on period fabrics and woven or painted on. Once that's done, it's easy enough to make the alpha for them and load them into the game.

ok texture is no problem.. I was thinking that more detailed would get lost in the size difference... Ill add the textures in tomorrow and show the new ones. I was also thinking of the actual battles where each unit has there own banner... maybe i should have specified... sorry

and no cirtique is too rough... please let me know which you like and what you are looking for.. it will be the only way to make really good art. Communication is the key. I can make a kick ass banner but if isn't of what you want then it isnt a very kick ass piece of art

I like the design theme your going for magestryn, but honestly, i would need to see them in their final form before I can give any real critique. I love the first two, I'm not so sold on the the one with the blood spitting out of the head of the guy.
Do me a favor, make the snake one in a final textured look that we would see in game and then I'll have a real idea of what these will look like in game.

i got to say two things. 1. Magestryn, you seem to be very enthousiastic about this and i like that attitude. Welcome onboard again. 2. It wouldnt hurt to depict some severed heads but too much blood will make this mod looking like a b rated horror movie, thats what i believe. I agree that the warrior with the blood gushing out of his head needs to be redone. I have an idea for banners, since i best liked the middle one. Why dont you peak one thing out of each faction, the snake you used, or the white crane for the Tlaxcallans, the jaguar for the Aztecs, the Maya banner with the owl and the two spears or a calendar for the Maya, one characteristic thing of each faction, and work only on that. Having two many figures in the banner may make it difficult to make out what it is from a distance. But if you work on one thing, like the snake, then it will be visible from afar. What do the others think?

Oooo that tiger one looks GREAT with textures and all, can not wait to see it in game. Do you know how to make the banners so they load and look proper on the battlefield?
