When i read that M2TW Kingdoms was going to have an American Campaign I was very exited. But then i read that it would only take place in the USA-america and that the factions would be the aztecs, the maya, the apache, the chichimeca, the tlaxcalans and the tarascans, I was very dissapointed. Where are the Inca? they were the biggest and most powerful empire ever to be settled in America? Why arent they included, but the chichimecas are? who the hell were the chichimecas? Are they more important just because they were closer to modern USA than the Inca? or the Tlaxcalans? What importance do they have? Did they resist 300 years and defeated the spanish, like the mapuche did? No.
So, I just wanted to say that im dissapointed with the american campaign of the expansion.
Thanks.

I think CA has shown time and time again that they care more for popular opinion than history. People know more about mesoamerica and the western US than they do south america. The fact that a lot of people have asked us about mesoamerican civs and wanted them to be in the mod is a good example. But CA has also made one of the greatest strategy game engines around and has allowed them to be very moddable, and for that we thank them.

Hmm and i believe the Tlaxcalans are better known than the mapuche. From the european point of view the Inca, Maya, Aztecs are better known followed by the Zapotec and the tlaxcalans

The Greeks like the Indian people and they are very much interested in the Indian culture. I believe you wont find many europeans as much interested as the Greeks in the Indian civilizations. And you wont find many europeans acklowledging the fact that America is not only the U.S. The Greeks do!! Anyway, when i said that the mapuche are not well known i wasnt flaming, but just stating a fact. Nevertheless, this mod gives me the opportunity to learn about civs like the mapuche, the diaguita, the chimu and the chachapoyas which i knew only very little about and i find them very interesting. Vuk i sent you a mapuche, i believe you will like the mapuche models, i took special care of them

lol! I meant no offence to the Indians at all! I simply meant that I wouldn't be paying attention to the other features of the game till I got to use the Greek Flamethrower. Sorry if it sounded that way, I was only saying what interested me in the game. The Britains didn't, but that doesn't mean that I don't like them. nvm lol I will start work on the Mapuche immediately! YEEHAWW!! lol

lol, they are Indians I'm sure no one means anything bad by the term. I find it annoying striving to call people all these weird, foriegn, and oftentimes, senseless terms so that you don't offend them. lol Me? I am a limey, nigger, fish hauling, Dago who spends too much time in the patty wagon, lol My friends call me things like that all the time and I don't take offence. I certainly wouldn't take ofence if the referred to me as "black", instead of "African-American", or any other such politically correct garbage. I am not ashamed of my black heritage, so I have no need to be uber sensitive and always insist that people refer to me a certain way. Wonder why (white)Westeners don't really care if you refer to them by a term that isn't exactly correct? Because they are proud of who they are and have no need to be sensitive. I think that in our effort to promote equality we have only made members of my and other people's races ashamed of who they are. Things like AA and PC race terms insinuate that we are somehow inferior and in need of white people's aid and constance vigilance when they speak of us. I don't know about you, but I am part black and proud of it. I don't give a rat's tail what you call me, I am, and always will be proud to be a black...or an African-American, or a nigger, or whatever the heck you want to call it. Vuk

Its not an offense thing, its only that indian are the people who live in india, americans are the people who live in america (all of america, not usa) and native americans are the amerindians. lol, I know that. People get offended because you call them Indians when they are not from India... The thing is that Columbus gave them that title and they have been called that ever since. That is what they are known as. It is the same thing with calling the Norwegians "Danes". They technically aren't "Danes", but depending on the part of the world you come from, that is all they are called. On a board where we are making a mod about pre-columbian south and central americans, I think that the term Indian will not result in any confusion and will work just fine for our purposes. Sorry, but I just prefer to use the word - they have always been known as Indians, and many who grew up speaking English use the word to refer to themselves. Please don't think I'm being picky, it is that that I am trying to avoid. But ok, maybe I am being picky in my effort not to be picky . lol If it is alright with you guys though, I will just call them Indians. ;D
