Yes thats what i thought. I suggest we make the south america civs for the beta and the meso america for the final release along with the spaniards. What do you think?

I do agree.... but nevertheless, at least the Aztecs, and the Mayas could be put there at least to not let the map too empty )

Thats not completely wrong, you know. You are right. What if i work mu butt out and finish all 11 civs before you guys have made a beta. OK new plan. I will model all 11 civs and mercs. The ones who are working on the map could make cities for the maya the aztecs and the mixtec- zapotec where they were supposed to be if they want to test the game. But for units we will use from another civ, something like placeholders, so as to test the game. Once i finish all civs then we can replace them and that's that. And the second release can be the spaniard invasion, with the spaniards and some refresh of the units. I can do the models for the 11 civs till the end of June. Anyway, by that time we will be finishing the buildings i suppose, so this change of plans wont change anything actually. I believe an optimistic evaluation is that by the end of September we can release the INCA TW mod. It will be a beta and a first release in one. There is also another alternative. I can model the Aztecs and the Maya, but then there is only one, the Mixtec, so the delay is minimal. I say go for it, i seem to be handling the situation (unless i fall from exchaustion). My only request. DONT GIVE UP. It will be a same to give up at some time before the release and let some 200 models (which i plan to model) vanish in thin dust.

Hmm, Meliritos... good idea. But i`m afraid that in summer most of the people from here will go to holydays and this mod is going to stall....
That would be a true disaster... believe me...
All this work done in wane...
That is why i urge the people to hurry and release something in july.... not even a beta, but something playable... because i`m afraid that we are not going to reach even this step. Seriously.

In my opinion, the Tlaxcalans where too weak due to war. We can include them as rebels or as a none playable faction. They where getting mauled by the aztec and they had seized too much of their land. We can have them as the top notch merc however. Look, about the summer. The most deboted people to the mod will not leave. Meleritios, has the most heroic standar of all the team. Fil, he will not quit, he has done too mucha and is expecting a great game in return. Rex, im not sure if you will quit your own mod. Caius, well, I think he has supported us from the very end so he is not quiting. Byz, he is the second leader, will not quit. Rah'Majashan, omfg, the map is so freaking sweet as well as his devotion. Vuk, he has the best looking skins so far, and im sure he will stay with us.Me, Im not quiting.
All of us have done a great deal of work just to quit now, so im not sure if anyone will.

Thanks Murf! That is very nice of you to say. I am sorry that things have been a bit slow do to real life, but I assure you, I am not quitting. I think that everyone else here loves this mod and is devoted also. Vuk

I second Sexy Dogs' sentiments. I'm having fun with this whole thing and its sort of become a slight obession I'll admit. I may have to slack off some come the end of June beginning of July because of my move and my short film, but I intend to see this thing through. Everyone here has been doing a top notch job and has shown the kind of professionalism and dedication towards the project that has made me approach it like any other freelance job I would take in my professional life.
Short story long, I aint goin no where till I can boot up me computer and spend a day conquering the Andes.
By the by rex, the summer is when I actually have more free time, these past three months have been my 12 to 15hr hell weeks.
But all the same, I'll try and have you guys a playable map with heights, ground types, climates and terraces around at least one city for a late June beta.
Ok, now back to topic, do we have a list of which factions we will use. We get 21. We should probably map it out for convenience.
ie: Senate = Inca, Brutii = Chimu, Egypt=Aztec etc

I have more free time in the Summer too. The map is going great Rah'Majashan! I am not sure just how many we are going to have in the beta. It depends if we include the Aztecs or not. That is entirely up to Rex. Vuk

Firstly, the main enemy of the Aztecs were in fact the Tlaxcalans, and they were a well known civ. And on the other hand, i got so good references for the Tlaxcalans im going to do miracles with them. So i say they are in, fully playble You wont regret this...
