Yes! I have finished my first experimental trait! From now on when I play Rome, Flavius Julius likes Tofu, which increases his influence by 1. Hopefully he will never become obsessed with Tofu, which will have a severely negative effect on influence, management, personal security, command, and troop morale! Yay for me. Now all I have to do is experiment with making retinue, and make sure that the triggers to make my people like tofu worked properly. Any ideas of a retinue for me to make up and mess around with for practice?

General retiunes, wich can be gained by carachters of any nations (i will try to add here some thing specific to the pre-columbian South America) :
"Surgerer" Surgery was not uncommon in the pre-columbian South-America +1 influence + 10% chances for soldiers to recover their wounds
"Suffering of Uta" Uta was a terrible disease, common in certain parts of Peru up to the present day, involving the apparition of ulcerations on the skin - 1 influence - 1 hitpoints
"Suffering from Espundia" Espundia was a more agravating form of the Uta desease, in wich the ulcerations affect the mucous membranes of the mouth" -3 influence - 2 hitpoins - 1 management

How will we combine our files together? Will one of us just copy + paste?
Also, what traits and retinue, if any, are we keeping that were made in Rome? For example, Good commander for traits, or cook for retinue... Are we keeping any of those, or making all our own?

Oh, also, can you send me a copy of your files that change the traits and retinue to me? You could either send it to the mod email or to homebody91@aim.com.
I want to see them just for a reference and stuff.

Hmm, i do not now how to use files.. i only make these traits after i read historycall information Some of the RTW vanilla traits are going to be replaced by these (the traits specific to the vannila RTW factions). Some of the generic traits (such as "good commander", "cook", etc, will remain).

So basically you are just making up the traits and retinue now, not adding them into the mod? I'll add them into a file if you'd like. But I need to know things like what the conditions are for the generals to gain those traits, such as: Winning battles, random if certain conditions are met, and in each situation, the chances that it will happen.

Yeah, but I can mod the files if you'd like (once I get a little more practice). You just need to give me a little more information about the traits and retinues that are going to be made, and make sure you specify whether they are traits or retinues.

Good news! My first retinue, Murfios, offictially worked! Once I get more information on those traits and retinue, I will begin working on them. Until then, I'll get some more practice.

lol, yup. I gave you the picture of the "spymaster" because of your avatar. You give +1 Influence, +2 Personal Security, +2 Public Security, and 20% discount off agent training costs. your description says something about you being an artist of Inca Total War.
I also did make a tofu cook just now. He raises influence by 1, and you need to have the "likes tofu" trait to get it.
But enough about that, I think I got the hang of traits and retinue. Can't wait till I get more info for the traits and retinue that Rex posted before so that I can get to work.

Condor Pet: Sometimes having the eyes of an eagle is not enough. +5 line of sight
Llama trainer: Having a llama is handy, owning a llama trainer is better. +4 trade income
Aymara Death Dealer: Having a devoted assassin at your disposal can be fruitful. +2 personal security
Machupe at Heart: +200% cost of bribe
