comment that unit and model out for a minute a test to see if the other models have the same problem because i cant see any problems with it. I did, then it CTD'd without an error message... Then it must not be a problem with just the skeletons....I think it has something to do with misconnections between different files. But someting may also refer to something thet is not in the game at the time....or may be misspelled.

I've got my new HDD so i'll be able to test myself soon, im having problems getting it to work, hopefully be fixed later.
I used a skeleton from an old model i made for BI before... im just assuming all the skeleton bone names are the same between RTW 1.5 and BI 1.6...
cant see why they'd be different.

23 Dec Summary
yavunolu - works fine! texture mapping slightly out of place, probably due to DDS LOD shrinking badly... can be fixed by mapping more pixels to its edges.
cherrikona - works fine... same as above.
lekay - slinger animation just wont work with it for some reason... i swapped it for the javelin animation and it loads ok... although this is not how we want this to end up... id suggest one of the other artists takes a look at this cus im at a loose end.
pulqui - model is fine but the texture went heywire on me... dont know why right now but i can find out next week, probably find the UV map went nuts
huaqui - crashes game outright... no error message... going to have to look into it but im lost at why it did this right now.
--- added note: the weighting and mapping (see on the legs above) aint quite working correctly on alot of the models... its going to take some work putting these things right but im fairly sure i know why its doing it, CAS files have some wird thing about having verts that are joined up have to UV'd together... once i have managed to work this out im sure i can get back to producing new models.
